Jacob's Perspective:

It was October 22, 2023, my final day at the Fully Alive retreat. With an open heart, I asked the Lord what He wanted to do that weekend and He told me “something you're not expecting” and well,it definitely came to pass and you will see how it did. , He delivered beyond my expectations. My encounter with God throughout the retreat was profound, but nothing prepared me for the closing moments. It was in the middle of a prophetic atmosphere ushered in by Mark, the retreat's founder, that a revelation struck like lightning— then the moment happened where my life changed forever(in a good way of course) there was a woman standing behind Kaycie and in the moment she had said out loud “I have a word for Kaycie” she was hesitant at first to share but Kaycie encouraged her to, she stood in front of Kaycie and said “ the Lord told me that your husband in in the room. Mark asked the woman who released the word if the Lord told her to release it and she said yes, he also proceeded to ask if she knew who the man was and she said yes. After that moment the woman walked out amongst everyone and walked directly over to me and asked me “are you married” and my response to her was “no” (haha i was shook). The confirmation from various participants about our future union was nothing short of miraculous. I approached Kaycie, we exchanged contacts, and that marked the beginning of our God-orchestrated love story. Fast forward four months, my heart full of love, I proposed to her.

Kaycie's Perspective:

Introduced to Fully Alive by dear friends, I entered the retreat in October 2023, after a season of personal upheaval, with no expectation other than to meet God in solitude. I wasn't looking for love; I was seeking clarity and peace from the divine. I told the Lord that if He wanted me to get married, He would have to orchestrate and arranged marriage because I was over this whole dating thing. Safe to say, God got the memo. On the last day, as prophecies flowed and hearts were stirred, a friend shared a prophetic word that would pivot my life's direction. She told me that my husband was in the room. Of course, that’s a lot for someone to handle but she submitted it humbly. She told us that the Lord highlighted Jacob to her, and he just so happened to be the cute guy sitting next to me. Jacob suddenly became a significant part of my adventure of a lif.. His humility and spiritual sensitivity mirrored my deepest desires in a husband.

The Unfolding of Our Promise

Joined by a heavenly confirmation, our relationship blossomed swiftly and deeply. Every exchange revealed the layers of our compatibility and the divine craftsmanship of our pairing. Our spiritual families, our past prayers, and even our personal whims led us to this destined intersection.
